‘Wild Cat Lodge’ is a luxury wooden lodge which can accommodate up to a maximum of 2 people, who wish to enjoy the wilderness and peace of one of the most unspoilt and beautiful glens in Scotland, with the finest in home comforts.
Enjoy an outdoor barbecue or sink into the private hot tub – Wild Cat Lodge is designed with luxury in mind. The lodge has a log burner in the living room, and a double jacuzzi bath.
Enter into the living room, equipped with a log burner, designer leather sofa, oak coffee table, curved screen HD TV with DVD player, and deep-pile rug. All the information about the local area is provided, along with a selection of games to keep the family or friends amused.
The well-equipped kitchen has a state-of-the-art oven, microwave, dishwasher, wine cooler and Smeg designer appliances. A solid oak dining table and chairs will easily accommodate five guests.
The bedroom has a luxury king-size bed and three single bunk beds. Off the bedroom is an en suite bathroom with a double jacuzzi bath, toilet and sink.
Outdoors, a constantly-heated and large hot tub awaits you, with a sunken firepit, seating, barbecue, pizza oven and table and benches for al fresco meals. Enjoy watching the stars or toasting marshmallows over the firepit on the fairy-lit patio.
The lodge is situated within the owner’s private 500-acre estate, with a network of paths to the estate’s two lochs, one of which has a stunning lochside barbecue bothy. Kirnan also owns six miles of salmon fishing, available for guests.
Excellent restaurants are situated nearby, and although the lodge is situated in a very quiet and unspoilt glen, it is just ten minutes from the nearest shops, pubs and restaurants. Wild Cat Lodge is set in the most ancient landscape in Scotland – Kilmartin Glen, quarter of an hour away, has the highest concentration of Neolithic monuments in Europe. The lodge is also well placed for daily boat trips to the stunning West Coast islands, from Mull to Jura or Islay. Enjoy a trip out to the Corryvrechan whirlpool, with the chance to see dolphins, porpoise, sea eagles, seals and Minke whales. Or hire bikes, and cycle down the world-famous Crinan Canal.
Dogs are welcome at Wild Cat lodge, and you can walk freely on the estate.
